A. Individuals who engage in a coaching relationship can expect to experience fresh perspectives on personal challenges and opportunities, enhanced thinking and decision making skills, enhanced interpersonal effectiveness, and increased confidence in carrying out their chosen work and life roles. Consistent with a commitment to enhancing their personal effectiveness, they can also expect to see appreciable results in the areas of productivity, personal satisfaction with life and work, and the achievement of personally relevant goals.Back to Top

What things can coaching help me with?

Q. Does coaching work for everyone?
A. Unfortunately not. A client has to be willing to be accountable for his/ her behaviour as well as his / her intentions. A client has to want to change inside and to follow that through by corrective measures. When the outcome is not as expected, he or she can't point a finger elsewhere. Coaching requires a commitment to day by day, hour by hour and sometimes even minute by minute to work at the areas identified. It's a lot like body building, if you don't get to the gym; you're not going to see the results in the mirror. Its hard work sometimes, but the payoffs can be big in terms of self-esteem and enjoyment of life.Back to Top
Q. How is coaching different from psychotherapy?
A. Psychotherapy typically focuses on how past events in a client's life may have created or impacted their current challenges. Coaching on the other hand, focuses on the present situation, finding solutions and actions the client can use to create powerful and lasting changes. This is done by utilizing each client's unique strengths and gifts to help them deal effectively with change and to create and attain reachable goals.Back to Top
Q. How much does coaching cost?
A. I provide a coaching package as well as individual coaching sessions.

Q. Can I book one off sessions or do I have to book a full programme?
A. Of course you can. Although I recommend a course of coaching, some people find that they are happy with their life and only need a short burst of coaching to help them to clarify their thoughts and give them the proverbial ‘kick up the bum’. In this case a one off session is more suitable.Back to Top
Q. Does coaching only take place over the telephone?
A. Coaching generally takes place over the telephone at a designated appointment time. This means that you can benefit from coaching from anywhere in the world. However should you wish to have face to face coaching or an initial meeting at the start of your coaching program, please contact me so we can discuss your needs.Back to Top
Q. How long will I need a coach for?
A. As long as you like. In order to gain the full benefits of coaching, I recommend a minimum of 3 months for you to have the full advantage of looking at all areas of your life and what holds you back, in addition to making a noticeable impact on your goals. Any change takes time to set in and three months is a good period of time to assert that change. After that you may wish to follow on with regular sessions or touch back with coaching in order to keep you focused, motivated and on track with a particular goal or to gain ongoing support and motivation when the going gets challenging and you start to move out of your comfort zone.Back to Top
If you have any other questions or would like to find out more about how you can improve or change aspects of your personal and/or working life then contact me or apply for a complimentary 'Fresh Approach Discovery Session' where you discover what holds you back and set about making positive steps towards achieveing your goals. I only have space for 10 of these sessions per month and once they are gone, they're gone!
